Two rooms. One good reason to stay.
Design intent.
A city restaurant with a social heart and a more intimate dining room. The study explores how a sculpted steel bar, generous seating and carefully directed light can give an evening its rhythm.
The ambition
Bring the energy of the bar and the comfort of a favourite table into a larger, connected restaurant.
The design response
A curved bar anchors the first room. The same stone, leather and walnut continue into the main dining room, with different lighting and seating arrangements defining each experience.
01 / Inside the project
The bar sets the rhythm.
The central piece needs to hold its own from every side. Its curve, worktop and lighting are treated as one composition, with seating arranged around it.
02 / Inside the project
The evening opens up.
Beyond the bar, a larger room offers tables for different groups. Wall banquettes and window-side seating give it variety without changing the material language.
03 / Inside the project
Designed at the scale of a table.
Comfort is found in the details closest to the guest: the table edge, the chair, the light on the glass. These moments make the larger concept personal.
